Z-Emailed card word doc: This is great if clients or agencies request a selection of photos you can send in one go. If you send a selection of j-pegs (photos) sometimes people just do not have the time to open each photo sent to them, or they are so large it can block an email account, this way they have a doc form they can look at in one go, and can forward to their clients. This free offer only works if you have a good selection of j-pegs (photos) that we can work with, if they are not up to standard we would not be able to do it, but you have 12 months to sort your photos out for us. As long as you send them to us within the 12 months we will do it for FREE for you. What you will need: You will need permission from the photographer who owns the copyright on the photographs, They must be a large size j-peg (photo), as this will effect the look of your z card and CV, A good selection of about 6 to 10 different shots (Remember the head shots are the best ones to show of your looks) Please also remember the type of photo you are going to use, nude will not be allowed. please ask permission first if you are emailing a friend name and email address.

J-peg (PHOTOS) must have permission by the photographer or the person who holds the rights to them.
All details given are taken on face value. You have given full permission for us to forward your details to other agencies/companies or direct clients, and hold them on file. This will be on an email which we will send to you for you to reply to. You must reply to the same email to agree before further action can be taken. Without this we cannot continue with your CV.
On your first temp CV plate we will ask for your UTR/Schedule ID number– this will let us know whether you are freelance or payee. so we can inform the client/agencies or company. Your CV at NO TIME would be sent out with your UTR/schedule ID on. This is for our records only.
We will also ask you for your full address and contact number and at NO TIME would we send your cv out with your home number and address on. (This information will be added to your personalised letter head and invoice for your personal use.) We will ask for your National Insurance number and at NO TIME would we send your cv with this on, it is for our records only. We will hold all of the above details on a completely separate file. Your CV will be made so your identity can be kept as safe as possible. We highly recommend that the CV used to email or post out does not have your home number/address/bank details/ UTR- schedule ID, national insurance number on as we take your safety and identity very seriously. Under the Data Protection Act 1998, all information that you provide us with, including your CV, email address and phone number, is termed “personal data”. We are obliged to follow the principles set out in the Act when we process your personal data.
Cvjust4u will only display basic details: Name, and general area of abode, mobile number and email address. (For our records we will need your UTR no and National insurance number and full address, this way we will know if you are freelance or payee, so we can advise companies/agencies /direct clients.)
We do not display any family details, i.e. names of children, ages of children, name of wife etc. We do not display passport numbers. We do not display any bank details of any kind.
General tips after applying for jobs
Never give your bank details to anyone over the phone. Never give your personal details to anyone over the phone unless you can validate them. Never give any personal family details. Never give away your National Insurance number until you have secured a position and it is confirmed in the company letter heading. Avoid indicating when you are in or out of your house. Avoid saying that you live alone.
DO NOT ADD your CV's to job sites that:
Do not display proper company details i.e. company numbers. Do not display a bona fide company address. Be cautious of companies that display a PO Box number as their address. Do not display a proper telephone number (be wary of mobiles). Do not display their registration on the data protection register.
Other General Tips
Ensure that any site you are adding your CV to is registered on the Data Protection Register. Do not add your CV to sites - always check the sites validity. Do not add your CV to sites that offer open source searches of CV's. Do not add your CV to sites that do not have any mailing address or contact telephone number. Do not under any circumstances give your National Insurance number to anybody until you are absolutely confident and ready to do so. Do not add any personal information on your CV - it is now acceptable to refrain from putting your whole address on your CV, this can be disclosed when you are ready to do so. Avoid applying to suspect vacancies - whereby no employer name is displayed - although bear in mind that some employer may advertise anonymously. When searching for hospitality jobs or jobs in general online - or are preparing your hospitality job search and career move - it is very important in this day and age that you are extremely careful which sites you add/load your CV onto. Don’t hesitate or be reluctant in any way about asking for a company’s Data Protection number. The 8 principles are that Personal data shall be processed fairly and lawfully. Personal data shall only be processed for the purposes for which it was collected and not for any other purposes. Personal data shall be adequate, relevant and not excessive in relation to the purpose for which it is processed. Personal data shall be accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date. Personal data shall not be kept for longer than is necessary. Personal data shall be processed in accordance with the rights of data subjects under the DP 1998. Appropriate technical and organisational measures shall be taken against unauthorised or unlawful processing of personal data and against, accidental loss or destruction of, or damage to, personal data. Personal data shall not be transferred outside of the European Economic Area unless a adequate level of protection for the data can be ensured. Statement We may share your information with companies/agencies and direct clients. We may contact you by telephone, e-mail to let you know about any services or promotions which may be of interest to you. When you give us your personal information, we will give you the opportunity to opt out of receiving such information from us but remember that this will preclude you from receiving any of our special offers or promotions in future. If you allow your CV to be searchable by third parties, then all recruiters who pay for access to our CV database will have access to your CV. We use our best efforts to grant access to this database only to paying recruiters, hiring managers, head hunters, and human resource professional’s agencies. However, we are not responsible if some other third party, such as someone posing as the fore mentioned and paying for the service evades security measures and gains access to the database, and, subsequently, you’re CV. You may remove your CV from our searchable database at any time. However, recruiters who have paid for access to the database may have retained a copy of your CV in their own files or databases We are not responsible for the retention, use, or privacy of CV in these instances. Under the Employment Agencies Act, CV Screen is obliged to hold your data for 12 months after it was last used. If at any time you wish your details to be removed from our database, please email us at info@cvjust4u.co.uk and let us know if you wish your cv to be removed from our data base and please also add on the email why, thank you. Acceptance Under the data protection acts, you are entitled to request a copy of the information (emailed to you) we hold concerning your details for which we charge a fee of £10. You may revoke your consent to our using your information for the above listed purposes at any time. Cvjust4u will not sell or rent personally identifiable information to any third party for any purpose. sent to you, to state that you agree with out terms and conditions. If any changes are made to your cv, and we did not make these changes, all rights will be removed from our services and agencies and clients will be notified that we no longer represent you and the data protection act does not hold with your new cv that you have changed etc. Turnaround times All orders are processed and a first draft produced within three to four working days of payment being received and satisfactorily cleared [excluding statutory holidays]. Exceptions to this are the optional express service. The time scale will be down to you on how fast you can email information that may be missing from the CV temp plate that would have been sent to you. We have done CV’s as quickly as three days, but this was due to the client emailing everything that we needed on the same day that we asked extra questions. Proofreading to save £20- Do your own proofreading, which means examining your own text carefully to find and correct typographical errors and mistakes in grammar, style and spelling. (We will send you a part done CV, and ask you to then to proofread it, and email back confirming you have you have done this, we will then proceed to complete your CV. If you go fort he 20 offer, any mistakes found, it is down to the CV holder to conatc us to arrange for it to be changed asp. Payment is required in full at the time of placing the order. We may offer you a discount if you wish to spell check your own CV. If you choose not to take up this offer, we highly recommend you email us with any errors ASAP, so we can update any problems that may occur to enable us to complete your CV. Cancellation policy Except in exceptional circumstances, once an order/payment has been accepted by us, no refund will be available. Relaxation exercise: Sit or lie down comfortably. Straighten your back; put your shoulders back to open your rib-cage. Relax your shoulder muscles particularly. Relax your whole body, and empty your mind. Close your eyes (obviously open them when you need to read the next stage). Take ten deep, slow breaths. Breathe from the pit of your stomach and feel your lungs filling. Focus on your breathing. Feel it getting deeper and slower. Feel yourself relaxing and any tension drifting away. Relax your shoulders and neck again. Visualise yourself being happy, succeeding, winning, being loved, laughing, feeling good. Relax your forehead, your mouth and your eyes. Allow a gentle smile to appear on your face as you feel a calmness enter your mind.
· Most people judge themselves against entirely artificial criteria. Material success is not what life is about. · You can change your frame of reference. You do not have to accept a frame of reference that others have given you. · Many of the most materially 'successful' people are deeply unhappy, yet they strive and search (unsuccessfully) even harder for more material success. · Most good, honest 'being' people are fooled into believing that what they have is not worth anything.
